Challenge

Nestlé was looking for a high-potential whitespace in the better-for-you snacking market. Bars were a booming business, and probiotics were on the rise. But no product successfully—and tastefully—brought those together. There was a clear opening in the marketplace to introduce a better-for-you bar delivering the immunity and gut-health benefits of probiotics.

Action Taken

With the directive to apply the nimbleness and speed of a startup, DuPuis partnered with Nestlé to define the opportunity area, pinpoint the target consumer, and develop and launch the brand. Utilizing all aspects of DuPuis innovation and design, from research and positioning to branding and packaging, the GoodBe probiotic bar was born. In partnership with Nestlé, we also developed and executed the go-to-market strategy.

Results

GoodBe was launched in one regional chain of 40 stores to gather product, channel and consumer learnings.
