Naturally Fresh

Naturally Fresh is the leading walnut-based cat litter that’s good for pets, people, and the planet. It’s biodegradable, sustainable, non-GMO, and non-toxic. It also covers up odors, clumps well, and absorbs three times more than clay litter. In an effort to communicate the brand’s superior product offering, earth-friendliness, and unique benefits, DuPuis partnered with Naturally Fresh to introduce natural equities into the packaging and branding.

Challenge

All of the good Naturally Fresh offers cat parents wasn’t being communicated through its packaging. With a goal of communicating natural positioning and sustainable product offering, DuPuis partnered with Naturally Fresh to modernize its branding and packaging and develop a shopping system that differentiated between each unique product in the portfolio.

Action Taken

In support of this goal, DuPuis worked with Naturally Fresh to evolve its equities by highlighting the heart of the product: walnuts. We increased their prominence in the brand mark, introducing a more contemporary and natural walnut illustration. Walnut leaves and shells sit against the sky backdrop to further communicate the natural composition of the product.

Results

The new, impactful brand mark, clear shopping system, and focus on nature has given the Naturally Fresh package a deeper connection to its natural positioning and unique product offering—all with cats and their needs as the ultimate priority.
